Best Practices and Emerging Trends in ICT: A Focus on Sustainability, Digital Trust, and Innovation

Abstract: The research establishes best practices and upcoming patterns of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) while considering sustainability together with digital trust specifically cybersecurity and innovation as essential domains. The responsible and effective implementation of ICT demands solutions for these fundamental aspects because it is increasingly important for worldwide connectivity and commerce and governance operations. Industry data and research studies have combined to present actionable strategies in this survey because of increasing data center energy requirements and cybercrime costs and industry leader research investments. The work derives its best practices from international standards and frameworks which elevate its value for educational institutions as well as official policies and professional practice applications. Comprehensive Analysis of ICT-Based Learning Management Systems: A Framework for AI, Blockchain, and Metaverse Integration in Digital Education

Abstract: Educational institutions experience extraordinary change through Information and Communication Technology (ICT) but Learning Management Systems (LMS) play the most substantial role in developing modern teaching-learning methods. As pertaining to this study about the best practise regarding implementation for enhancing e-learning by the use of ICT based LMS, this is an implementation proposal as at April 2025. They came up with a mixed approach of survey of 300 university students and faculty; case studies of university benchmarks such as MIT Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard; and LMS analytics. Analysis of key studies indicates that user-oriented approach, application of Al algorithms and features, and effective cybersecurity increases learner’s interest and their satisfaction; the survey results demonstrate 85% of satisfaction for Al incorporated systems compared to 60% of traditional ones. It is able to provide practical implications for educators and institut...

Adaptive Hybrid LMS–Kalman Filter (AHLKF) for Enhanced Noise Cancellation in ECG Signals

Abstract: Electrocardiogram (ECG) signals are fundamental in the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiac conditions, but they are often contaminated by various types of noise, such as power line interference, baseline wander, and muscle artifacts. Traditional noise filtering techniques, including the Least Mean Squares (LMS) algorithm, have been widely used to remove steady-state noise. However, LMS filters alone are less effective when dealing with non-stationary noise. This paper proposes a novel Adaptive Hybrid LMS-Kalman Filter (AHLKF) algorithm that combines the strengths of the LMS and Kalman filtering approaches for enhanced real-time ECG signal processing. The AHLKF dynamically adjusts filter parameters to handle both stationary and non-stationary noise with improved performance. This hybrid approach is designed to preserve critical ECG features while minimizing computational complexity, making it suitable for real-time applications in wearable ECG monitors and portable health dev...

Multi-Scale Auroral Energy Transport from Alfv'enic Turbulence: A Data-Driven Simulation of Jupiter’s Ionospheric Response

Abstract: This study presents a fully simulation-based approach to modeling Jupiter’s auroral processes using open-access planetary magnetic field models and Python-based analysis tools. By integrating dipolar magnetic field line tracing, parallel electric field computation, and Poynting flux estimation across a range of ionospheric conductivities and MHD wave parameters, we evaluate the energetics and dynamics of auroral energy transport. The simulation yields peak Poynting flux values (∼67,600 mW/m2) and auroral power outputs (∼2.2 °ø 1021 TW), significantly exceeding values reported by Juno-era observations . Additionally, predicted auroral brightness (∼1022 Rayleighs) and unphysical AlfvÅLen speeds (∼8.9 °ø 106 km/s) suggest overestimations stemming from assumptions in plasma density and field alignment . The absence of modeled precipitating electron flux further contrasts with typical magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling observations . Despite these discrepancies, the model captures...

Hybrid FDTD and Machine Learning Framework for Nonlinear Wave Dynami in Cold Plasma

Abstract We present a novel hybrid computational framework that couples classical finite-difference timedomain (FDTD) simulation with machine learning (ML) to model and forecast nonlinear wave propagation in a cold plasma. In this study, a one-dimensional (1D) FDTD Maxwell–Drude solver is implemented in Google Colab to simulate electromagnetic waves in a cold (collisionless) plasma. The governing equations (Maxwell’s curl equations coupled to the cold-plasma polarization equation) are solved with absorbing boundary conditions. To extract nonlinear features (such as wave steepening) and to predict future wave profiles, we employ an autoencoder to compress the simulated field snapshots into a lowdimensional latent space, and a shallow neural network to forecast the wave evolution in that latent space. Quantitative results are presented, including the dispersion relation versus plasma frequency and time-domain field amplitude growth. We demonstrate that the ML model accurately reproduces ...
